10 and 20

10 Reasons Why I Cannot Wait Until Spring Training:
- I have been deprived of baseball for 112 days which is 112 days too many.
- The fact that I have to wait 7 more days is tearing me apart.
- I love seeing the truck leave for Clearwater, but I love seeing it arrive even more.
- There is still a very small possibility that I may attend a game in Clearwater.
- When pitchers and catchers report, it’s like seeing peanut butter and jelly together, it’s just…right.
- During the first full-team exercise, I feel like the Phillies are holding a family reunion.
- When the games are broadcasted during the day, I will run off of my school bus and plant my butt on the couch for the rest of the game.
- I get to see the Phillies win victoriously before the season even starts.
- I have been told that my school work is much more consistent when baseball starts.
- Phillies Spring Training is just a fancy term for “a preview of the 2011 World Series Champions.”
20 Reasons Why I Cannot Wait Until Opening Day:
- I’m taking April 1st off, because I will not miss opening day.
- I already know that I’m going to cry as the players file onto the field.
- The season starts off with an Astro’s series, which will hopefully be redemption from our last home series against them…
- I’m so incredibly excited to see the standing ovation’s that all of our starters will receive, especially Cliff Lee.
- The best thing about Summer break is the fact that there is a Phillies game on almost every day, which I never miss.
- I’ve missed staring at the TV watching something that is actually interesting for 2-2 ½ hours.
- I recently bought 3 tickets to a home game against the Marlins, which was one of my New Years resolutions.
- I can’t wait to resume in-game tweeting, it’s all I do during Phillies games.
- Each game brings something that I will always remember.
- Extra-inning games are the most enjoyable, especially when we win, walk-off style.
- I would love to see Domonic Brown become the everyday right-fielder with amazing defense and offense which will earn him the NL ROY title.
- I love those late-night West Coast games that I stay up until the morning for.
- Since we clearly have the greatest rotation in all of baseball, I’ve been anticipating this upcoming season for that reason (along with 19 others, of course!)
- Opening day means spring, and spring means warmer weather and lovely day games.
- If Jimmy Rollins is doing as well as the media portrays, it should be a great season for him, which we all missed out on last season.
- The July 31st trade deadline will be an interesting one, and I actually can wait for it.
- If 2010 was the “Year of the Pitcher” than what will 2011 be? Maybe the year of the catcher? Viva la Chooch!
- Baseball is my life in a nutshell, my world revolves around it and I need it just like Chase Utley needs his hair gel which I also cannot wait to see get all gross under his helmet.
- I love Carlos Ruiz’s post-game interviews and I hope that there will be many this season.
- I can already smell a victorious postseason, can’t you?

I’m with you, get rid of the snow bring on the spring and baseball… ‘Year of the catcher’ I like that… I’ve said for a long time now that Chooch is the most under rated guy in a Phillies uniform….

Phillies Outside
Yes, please! Haha, I agree about Chooch, I think all Phillies fans would agree with that one.
